Cheyenne County Veterans Service Office partners with representatives from the Cheyenne VA Medical Center and Northern Colorado VA Health Care System to share information, answer questions, and help veterans better navigate their VA healthcare options.
This event will focus on the Care in the Community program, recent changes, and how veterans can best utilize the program for their healthcare needs. Living in a rural community, many of our veterans rely on Care in the Community services, making it especially important to understand how the process works and how to avoid common issues or delays.
Representatives will also be available to discuss VA healthcare benefits, eligibility, and services available through the VA Health Care System.
In addition, the VA will have a team on-site assisting with new Veteran Health ID Cards (VHIC) and VHIC renewals.
